The Aviation Special Report is an annual magazine publication produced by Burns & McDonnell that highlights each year’s key developments in the world of aviation. On a team of three designers who each pitched a design style for the 2023 ASR, I generated one cover design and one spread design to capture a look that highlighted “big, bold type” and “big, bold graphics,” while remaining loyal to the cool cleanness of the Burns & McDonnell identity.
